SOUND UNIVERSE RENACER Elements That Compose It
Letter

Sound
The lyrics of this third and final track convey the idea that we are not alone, becoming a celebration of unity, strength, self-love, and recovery after the storm. Phrases like “united we are stronger,” “let’s raise our voices,” and “you will never be alone” transform the song into an act of support and sisterhood, while lines like “take my hand as we walk” and “strength comes from within” reinforce the process of personal and collective rebuilding. The narrative leaves behind fear and pain to focus on healing, hope, and emotional connection, closing the EP's journey from a place of resilience and self-love.
The composition unfolds from a structure comprised of intro, verse 1, verse 2, bridge, chorus, bridge, chorus, variation, chorus, and outro. The track's primary genre is Afrobeat, whose form and development were constructed through research and analysis of various genre references, maintaining its rhythmic energy and celebratory feel within the EP's conceptual conclusion.
The composition is built around three types of drums which, in the final recording, will be played with tamboras and alegres, contributing the rhythmic energy characteristic of Afrobeat and Afro-Colombian percussion. Claps and synthesizers create the genre's atmosphere, while one of the synthesizers serves as the main harmonic foundation, following Afrobeat conventions.
The harmonic bass underpins the piece's movement, while the melodic guitar adds fluidity and dynamism to the musical development. Finally, the vocal arrangements complement the lead vocals, reinforcing the collective feeling, the strength, and the sense of unity that permeates the entire track.
Design
The sound design was developed through in-depth research and analysis of Afrobeat, studying its harmonic, rhythmic, and textural characteristics to define the sounds that construct the track's identity. This process determined the musical and timbral elements that underpin the composition, as well as the incorporation of instruments from the Colombian Pacific region during the pre-recording stage, seeking to connect the language of Afrobeat with a unique and coherent sonic identity that aligns with the EP's conceptual conclusion.
