Sonority
In the musical composition and scoring developed for Las Paces, I sought to reflect and amplify its mission of rebuilding and transforming relationships through restorative justice.
The music was conceived as an atmospheric accompaniment designed to evoke dialogue, understanding and repair, creating a sonic space that supports the message of reconciliation between victims, perpetrators and communities.
Each texture and harmonic decision was developed to convey closeness and hope, supporting the narrative while strengthening the emotional impact of the content. Through sound, my intention was to contribute to imagining and constructing a more just and humane future.
We are an organization dedicated to providing guidance and support to governmental and non-governmental entities, as well as to individuals who work on or are involved in issues related to restorative justice and comprehensive reparation for victims.
We carry out consulting, advisory, capacity-building and training processes in psychosocial tools for restoration and comprehensive reparation for victims, as well as emotional care for those working with severe human rights violations. We also develop mediation processes and support preparation for acknowledgment and recognition processes.
Identity
Development of sonic atmospheres that accompany processes of grief, transitioning toward states of calm, restoration and emotional repair within a safe psychosocial framework.
The sonic proposal is built from an attentive listening to the audience, seeking to musically support, sustain and amplify the internal processes that emerge within these spaces.
Through textures and organic soundscapes, sound becomes a medium of containment and resonance, allowing emotions to find a place.
Each sonic element is designed to create a space for integration, memory and the possibility of resignification.
The sound design engages in dialogue with silence, the body and the spoken word, understanding listening as a political and reparative act.
In this way, the auditory experience not only accompanies the process, but also develops into a safe space where memory, voice and emotion can transform.
